ListKit Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026

Useful software, thoughtfully built.

1. Overview

ListKit is an offline list and checklist app developed by Kaiser Works. This policy covers the current local-only version for Android and iOS.

ListKit does not require an account or provide cloud synchronization. It has no advertising, subscriptions, in-app purchases, remote analytics, or integrated crash-reporting service.

Read What We Do With Your Data for a simpler explanation.

2. Information processed on your device

ListKit stores the following in a local SQLite database to save and organize your lists and remember your preferences:

  • List names and item text, including anything personal you choose to enter.
  • Completion status, manual ordering, automatic sorting preference, list icons, and accent colors.
  • Locally generated record IDs, creation and update times, and deletion times.
  • Your system, light, or dark appearance preference.

The five-second completion Undo state is temporary and is not saved when the app closes. Record IDs identify local lists and items; they are not account or advertising identifiers.

3. What can leave your device

ListKit does not automatically upload list contents or settings to Kaiser Works. There is no ListKit backend, cloud storage, or account service in this version.

When you choose Share list, ListKit passes the list title and all its visible items, including their checked or unchecked status, to the operating system share sheet. You choose a destination. The receiving app or service may transmit and retain that copy under its own policies. This is text sharing, not collaborative editing or a restorable backup.

Your operating system may back up or restore app data according to your device settings and backup provider’s practices. ListKit does not provide its own backup or control those copies.

Opening these privacy pages uses your browser and a website connection. The website host receives normal connection information, such as an IP address; opening a privacy link does not attach your lists.

4. Services, advertising, and purchases

ListKit uses Expo and React Native libraries for the app interface, local storage, local ID generation, and device integration. The current app has no advertising SDK, payment integration, authentication provider, remote analytics SDK, or crash-reporting SDK configured to receive your list data.

Third parties can handle information when you choose a share destination, use device backups, download or update the app through Apple or Google, browse a linked website, or send email. Those providers apply their own policies. Store and operating system diagnostics depend on their settings and services; they are separate from an in-app ListKit reporting service.

5. Contacting support

If you email support@kaiserworks.app, Kaiser Works and the email providers involved receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot. ListKit does not automatically attach lists or diagnostic reports.

Support correspondence remains in the support mailbox as needed to handle your request and any applicable recordkeeping obligations. There is no automatic deletion schedule promised here. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent.

6. Retention, deletion, and export

Your local data remains in the app database until it is removed. Deleting a list hides it and retains its contents in Recently deleted in Settings, where you can restore it. Deleting an individual item also retains its record locally, although there is no item-restoration control. There is no automatic purge period.

ListKit currently has no in-app permanent erase, delete-account, or full data export/import control. There is no ListKit account to delete. Use your operating system’s app-storage controls to remove local app data where available, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling may remove local data; device backups and previously shared copies can remain separately. Manage those with the backup provider or recipient.

To keep a readable copy of a list, use Share list from that list’s options. Shared text cannot be imported to restore the database. Kaiser Works cannot retrieve or erase a database stored only on your device.

7. Security

ListKit stores its database in app-local storage and relies on your device’s operating system protections. The app does not add a separate database encryption layer or an app lock. Protect your device and consider what you include in lists, shared copies, or support emails. No storage or transmission method offers absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

ListKit has no account registration or age collection. Kaiser Works does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support correspondence. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it. Avoid sending unnecessary personal details in support messages.

9. Your rights and choices

You decide what to enter, edit, share, or remove, and whether to use operating system backups. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information Kaiser Works holds. Contact support for requests concerning information you have sent us. Local-only lists are managed on your device.

10. Policy updates

We will update this policy and its effective date when data practices change. Planned features such as accounts, cloud sync, full backup/export, analytics, or monetization are not part of this version’s data practices.
